A couple years ago, I started helping brands and marketers understand and connect with my generation as a student in college. I joined a small Gen Z consultancy, started posting my thoughts on LinkedIn, and launched a career in marketing. I quickly realized that even though Gen Z was shaped by god-like technologies like social media and smartphones, there weren’t many influencing the way products were built. Who could ensure they were built with their interest and insight and designed with humanity and purpose. So I decided to be that voice for Gen Z in the tech world.Â

Metaverse use in marketing is expanding and diversifying, as an increasing number of companies tap into the technology to afford more immersive experiential marketing, reach new markets, increase brand engagement, and open new avenues for e-commerce. This session will examine the application of the metaverse in gamified marketing, pop-up marketing, out-of-home marketing, and hybrid real/virtual marketing applications. It will also discuss AI’s growing role in powering marketing applications of the metaverse.
