Meet Ray Kahn

Ray combines more than two decades of Wall Street experience in traditional capital markets, financial products, and trading with acumen in digital markets and payments. He has built/managed global units focused on securities/derivatives clearing, electronic trading, risk/collateral management, prime services, and post-trade processes. Ray focuses on the convergence of digital and physical to facilitate compelling experiences that create economic, social, and operational benefits. Ray speaks about “Reversing the Digital Paradigm,” bringing digital to mainstream users over the internet without intermediaries rather than requiring users to transition into the fragmented and confusing (to many) digital ecosystems.

Companies he is working with include USREM (fractionalizing real estate), ZeroBeta (multi-asset risk/collateral management), Inca Digital (NLP, data/analytics), and CLST (digital lending).

In traditional finance, he was President of ICE’s Creditex electronic bond/cds unit, built/managed Barclays’ OTC Client Clearing business, and served as Head of Barclays’ Global Prime Services’ Risk during the global credit crisis. He is a frequent speaker at global industry conferences including the FIA, FED, Risk Mag, and the World Federation of Exchanges. Ray has degrees from Wharton and the University of Michigan.
